My Bio
I first came up with the idea for a professional writing company over 27 years ago when I worked during college breaks at Newsweek magazine. And I was right - it's my special talent and I've been a writer at every job I've ever had.
When I was hired by the largest, privately owned, Fortune 500 company on Wall Street, I was given a relatively dormant commodity to cover as a researcher.
Within one year, I wrote a quarterly, internationally-read newsletter and successfully predicted the next major price upmove for this commodity - a few years in advance. I even received overseas calls asking who was the "new" writer.
When I went into teaching, I personally wrote my own curriculums in an effort to challenge learning difficiencies and excessive truancy rates. They were unique, student-centered writing/language arts programs integrating multi-levels of literature, subject matter and mediums. Students, parents, my own school principals praised my work.
I relocated in my late twenties, several thousand miles from New York City, and the first company that nibbled at my resume was a desktop publishing company.
I was fast, accurate, with that "special" eye for detail and the kind of talent that the CEO said "sparkled." It wasn't long before I was writing/editing some of the CEO's own corporate writing, public relations material, and portions of a major publication, instead of just proofreading for font and punctuation errors!
When I transferred into sales at an innovative, agricultural company, I helped introduce a product idea and was promoted to New Product Manager. I wrote/designed the product's brochure, packaging and advertising, and worked exclusively with the CEO on his exemplary, education proposal.
